Ethanol stocks get tighter

U.S. ethanol stocks moved to multi-month lows last week. The U.S. Energy Information Administration says the domestic supply declined 1.302 million barrels to 22.499 million, the tightest since mid to late June. The Renewable Fuels Association says stocks were down in nearly all the reporting regions and that was the third largest week to week loss on record.

Average daily production inched up 10,000 barrels to 1.023 million barrels a day, as the industry monitors margins and waits for details on President Trump’s promised biofuels reform package.
