Emergency assistance programs now enrolling

The USDA has announced it plans to provide commodity and specialty crop producers impacted by natural disasters in 2022 up to $3 billion in assistance.

The Emergency Relief Program of 2022 is meant to help offset financial impacts of crop losses from qualifying disasters.

Assistance will be delivered through a two-track process for producers who have applied for existing federal crop insurance as well as provide revenue-based support when losses were not covered by crop insurance.
