Corteva to ramp up on Enlist E3 soybeans

Corteva Agriscience says it will accelerate its move to Enlist E3 soybeans over the next five years.

At the same time, the company says it will significantly reduce the volume of Roundup Ready 2 Yield and Roundup Ready 2 Xtend soybeans.

Corteva says planted acreage projections for Enlist E3 soybeans in 2020 could approach 20 percent of the U.S. market, double original expectations.

Enlist E3 soybeans are a triple-stack product with tolerance to 2,4-D choline, glyphosate and glufosinate herbicides.

Corteva is the parent company of Pioneer and Mycogen, as well as several regional seed companies.
