Cargill beef plant in Colorado cuts production

Cargill has reduced production at its Fort Morgan, Colorado beef processing plant after several workers tested positive for COVID-19.

The company says it has temporarily idled its second shift operation and is running with only one production shift.

A union representative indicates seven employees have tested positive with another 150 under quarantine.

The Fort Morgan plant has 21-hundred employees.
