BRANDT breaks ground on Ag Innovation Center

A leading ag retailer has broken ground on an agriculture innovation facility to continue advancing agronomic inputs and services.

The BRANDT Research Farm in Pleasant Plains, Illinois will be home to the Evelyn Brandt Thomas Ag Innovation Center named after the company’s co-founder who celebrates her 100th birthday this month.

The 17,500 square foot facility will be a hub for research, development and collaboration and will include meeting spaces, presentation rooms, equipment storage and a history museum.

CEO Rick Brandt says the facility will be “instrumental in the company’s pursuit of discoveries that meet the evolving needs of today’s farmers.”

The center is expected to open in the fall of 2024.
