Bayer has announced Chief Operating Officer Brett Begemann will retired from his role after 38 years with the company.  Rodrigo Santos will succeed Begemann and take over global responsibility for the division’s commercial organization.  Santos is currently the Head of Crop Science Commercial Operations, Latin America.

Liam Condon, president crop science for Bayer says they’re appreciative of Begemann’s long and successful career at the company and they’re pleased to name Santos as his successor.  Condon says his extensive experience will allow the company to further strengthen leadership positions around the world and drive sustainable growth for customers.

The changes are effective June 8, 2021.
