Arkansas harvest update: soybeans 20%, rice 61% complete

Harvest continues for cotton, rice, soybeans, and corn in Arkansas. 

Soybean harvest is 20% complete and 55% are dropping leaves, 54% of the crop is rated good to excellent. The rice harvest is 61% complete with 76% rated good to excellent.  Cotton harvest is 5% complete and rated 72% good to excellent with 90% of the bolls are opening. 

Three percent of the winter wheat crop is planted. Pasture and range conditions are 22% good to excellent.
