AMS sheds some produce grades

USDA’s Ag Marketing Service is eliminating some voluntary consumer standards starting in May after its regular review process found they are no longer in use.

The ten crops impacted include some types of broccoli, carrots, celery, sweet corn, parsnips, turnips, Brussel sprouts and leafy greens.
