Agritourism informational meetings
Two workshops are available next week to landowners wanting to develop businesses that promote the natural resources on their property. Justin Schneider, Indiana Farm Bureau staff attorney says the programs are designed to give participants the chance to learn about their own value-added business.
The first workshop focuses on business plan development and legal considerations for outdoor enterprises. It is September 5 at the Indiana Farm Bureau’s home office in Indianapolis. The following day, Blue River Valley Farm in Milltown (Crawford County) will host an informational meeting on how to create a unique agritourism enterprise.
Registration for each workshop begins at 8:30. The cost is $45.
