AFF launches project to protect ag from trade retaliation

Americans for Farmers and Families, a coalition of food and ag leaders in support of NAFTA, has announced an initiative to protect the industry from retaliation from President Trump’s tariffs.

The Retaliation Hurts Rural Families project is led by Missouri farmers Casey Guernsey and Andrea Rice, and Indiana farmers Joe Steinkamp, Sarah Delbecq, Anngie Steinbarger, and Mike Beard.

Guernsey, a former Missouri state representative, says retaliation from other countries could eliminate hundreds of thousands of jobs.
