92% of Ohio corn, 84% of soybeans planted

The USDA says timely rainfall boosted crop conditions in Ohio last week. 

Ninety-two percent of the state’s corn crop is planted, and 70 percent has emerged. Seventy-nine percent of corn is in good to excellent condition.

Eighty-four percent of soybeans in Ohio are planted, and 58 percent of soybeans have emerged.

Ninety-seven percent of oats are planted, and 94 percent has emerged. 

Seventy-seven percent of winter wheat is in good to excellent condition.
