76% of Ohio corn, 72% of soybeans are in good to excellent condition

The USDA says adequate conditions for crop growth continued last week in Ohio.

According to the latest crop progress and condition report, 76 percent of the state’s corn crop is in good to excellent condition. Ninety-eight percent of the crop has emerged.

The crop condition rating for soybeans improved with 72 percent of the crop in good to excellent condition. Ninety-five percent of soybeans have emerged.

Seventy-six percent of winter wheat is in good to excellent condition.
