63% of Ohio corn, 64% of soybeans good to excellent

Precipitation increased overall in Ohio last week, but dry conditions continued in parts of the state.  

According to the USDA, corn is 63 percent and soybeans are 64 percent good to excellent.

The state’s winter wheat crop was rated 67 percent good to excellent.

The second cutting of alfalfa hay is 23 percent complete and the second cutting of other hay is 16 percent complete.
