63% of Indiana corn, 64% of soybeans good to excellent

Rain improved crop condition ratings in Indiana last week.

According to the USDA, corn is 63 percent and soybeans are 64 percent good to excellent.

Winter wheat conditions improved slightly as harvest progressed. The crop was rated 65 percent good to excellent.

The second cutting of alfalfa hay is 18 percent complete and the second cutting of other hay is eight percent complete.
