Rain around the state, including the remnants of Hurricane Isaac, slowed down harvested activity around Indiana last week.

The state office adds a number of hay fields have had good re-growth which should allow for another cutting before winter; as of Sunday, 90% of the third cutting was complete.

1% of soybeans are harvested with 20% called good to excellent and 44% poor to very poor.
