Milk futures lower, cash dairy mixed

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange continued to slide Friday taking back much of their earlier week gains with cash cheese also lower.

May Class III milk down 15 cents at $18.88.  June down 26 cents at $19.36. July down 24 cents at $19.64. August down 20 cents at $19.62. September through November contracts ten to 16 cents lower.

Dry whey up $0.0050 at $0.64.

Blocks down $0.0250 at $1.7875. Six trades were made at $1.7250 and $1.73.

Barrels down $0.05 at $1.73. Two trades were made at $1.73 and $1.7875.

Butter up $0.01 at $1.8750. One sale was made at that price.

Nonfat dry milk down $0.01 at $1.30. One sale was made at that price.
