Milk futures higher, cash cheese steady

In Class III trade at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, milk futures were higher, watching weather and feed ingredients. July was up $.03 at $15.24, August was $.12 higher at $15.89, September was up $.12 at $15.97, and October was $.07 higher at $16.05.

Over in the spot market, cash cheese was unchanged. Blocks held at $1.63. The last bid unfilled was on one load at that price. Barrels were unchanged at $1.7225.

Butter was $.0225 higher at $2.2725. The last bid unfilled was on one load at that price.

Nonfat dry milk was $.0275 lower at $.87. There were a total of seven trades, one at the closing price.
