Milk futures, cash dairy mostly higher

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange closed mostly higher Thursday support by strong cash movement.

October Class III milk unchanged at $22.11. November up a dime at $21.94. December a nickel higher at $21.34. January a penny higher at $20.80. February through April contracts unchanged to seven cents higher.

Dry whey unchanged at $0.4225.

Blocks up $0.0075 at $2.03. Three sales were made from $2.0175 to $2.03.

Barrels up $0.0275 at $2.25. Ten trades were from $2.2250 to $2.25.

Butter up $0.0275 at $3.22675. Six trades were made from $3.25 to $3.27.

Nonfat dry milk up $0.0025 at $1.54.
