Milk futures, cash dairy mostly higher

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange ended the week higher supported by strong cash cheese markets following a slightly bullish cheese stock report.

February Class III milk up a dime at $15.64.  March up 68 cents at $16.69.  April 75 cents higher at $17.12.  May up 75 cents at $17.48.  June through August contracts 29 to 53 cents higher.

Dry whey unchanged at $0.5350. 

Blocks up $0.1050 at $1.64.  Four sales were made ranging from $1.6275 to $1.6450.

Barrels up $0.0550 at $1.50.  Nine trades were made ranging from $1.47 to $1.50.

Butter down $0.01 at $1.2675. 

Nonfat dry milk up $0.03 at $1.12.  Ten sales were made ranging from $1.0950 to $1.12.
