Milk futures, cash dairy mostly higher

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were mostly higher Tuesday as was cash cheese trade.

April Class III milk a dime higher at $15.89. May five cents higher at $16.37. June up five cents at $17.09. July four cents higher at $17.76. August through October contracts 2 to 10 cents higher.

Dry whey up $0.0050 at $0.40. One sale was made at that price.

Blocks down $0.0025 at $1.4250. Nine trades were made from $1.3925 to $1.4250.

Barrels up $0.0075 at $1.4375. Five trades were made from $1.4225 to $1.4425.

Butter down $0.0325 at $2.82. Two trades were made at $2.8275 and $2.83.

Nonfat dry milk unchanged at $1.1225.
