CME milk futures mostly up, cash dairy mixed Friday

Milk futures beyond August were mostly up and cash dairy markets were mixed to end the week on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Friday, August 6th.

August Class III milk was down $.08 at $16.01.  September was up $.09 closing at $16.49.  October was up $.16 at $17.04.  November was up $.02 at $17.62.  December through June contracts were up from one to fourteen cents.

Dry whey was up $.0025 at $.54. There were no trades recorded.

Blocks were unchanged for a fifth straight day at $1.6350, and again, no sales were recorded.  

Barrels went up $.0025 to $1.31.  There were four sales from $1.3025 to $1.3075. 

Butter closed down $.0075 at $1.6475.  One sale was made at that price.

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.2550.  No sales were recorded Friday.
