CME milk futures mostly higher, cash dairy mixed Tuesday

Milk futures were mostly higher and cash dairy prices were mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June Class III milk was up $0.23 at $16.55.  July was up $0.18 at $16.94.  August was down $0.01 at $17.72.  September was down $0.01 at $18.53.  October through April contracts ranged from unchanged in March and April to eighteen cents higher in November.

Dry whey was up $0.0050 at $0.26.  There were 31 bids but no sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were up $0.0525 at $1.6525.  Three sales were recorded from $1.65 to $1.6525.

Cheese barrels were unchanged at $1.5150.  Eight sales were recorded from $1.51 to $1.55.

Butter was down $0.0125 at $2.4375.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0075 at $1.1525.  No sales were recorded.
