CME milk futures higher, cash dairy mixed Wednesday

Milk futures were mostly higher and the cash dairy markets were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.   

November Class III milk was up $0.05 at $17.24.  December was up $0.08 at $17.13.  January was up $0.02 at $17.34.  February was up $0.05 at $17.76   March through September contracts ranged from four cents lower in May to five cents higher in March.   

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.3650.  No sales were recorded. 

Forty-pound cheese blocks were unchanged at $1.6850.  Two sales were recorded at $1.6750 and $1.6850. 

Cheese barrels were up $0.0175 at $1.6725.  One sale was recorded at that price. 

Butter was down $0.1375 at $3.1425. No sales were recorded. 

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.1875.  No sales were recorded.
