CME milk futures & cash dairy prices down again Tuesday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were lower except for cheese blocks Tuesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April Class III milk was down $0.15 at $18.64.  May was down $0.20 at $18.16.  June was down $0.05 at $18.36.  July was down $0.02 at $18.79.  August through February contracts ranged from seven cents lower in November and February to unchanged in December.

Dry whey was down $0.02 at $0.44.  Two sales were recorded at $0.4450 and $0.4525.

Cheese blocks were up $0.0150 at $1.8150.  One sale was made at that price.

Cheese barrels were down $0.0075 at $1.7925.  No sales were recorded.

Butter was down $0.0225 at $2.3275.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk remained unchanged at $1.16.  No sales were recorded.
