CME milk futures, cash dairy higher Wednesday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were higher Wednesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February Class III milk was up $0.06 at $17.90.  March was up $0.08 at $17.64.  April was up $0.06 at $17.93.  May was up $0.05 at $18.42.  June through December contracts range from seven cents higher in November to nineteen cents higher in August.

Dry whey was up $0.0350 at $0.3550.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were up $0.0250 at $1.8950.  Three sales were recorded from $1.89 to $1.8975.

Cheese barrels were up $0.0025 at $1.5825.  Three sales were recorded from $1.5775 to $1.5950.

Butter was up $0.0250 at $2.33.  Three sales were recorded from $2.33 to $2.34.

Nonfat dry milk was up $0.0475 at $1.20.  Two sales were recorded at that price.
