CME milk futures and dairy markets mostly down Thursday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mostly down Thursday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December Class III milk was down $0.20 at $21.72.  January was down $0.10 at $20.76.  February was down $0.10 at $20.35.  March was down $0.02 at $20.39.  April through October contracts ranged from eight cents lower in April to three cents higher in May. 

Dry whey remains unchanged at $0.44.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Cheese blocks were unchanged at $2.2325.   No sales were recorded.

Cheese Barrels were down $0.0525 at $1.98.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Butter was down $0.0125 at $2.94.  Two sales were recorded at $2.9525 and $2.9550.

Nonfat dry milk was unchanged at $1.44.   No sales were recorded.
