CME milk futures and cash dairy mostly up Tuesday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were all up except for cheese on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Tuesday.

September Class III milk was up $0.24 at $20.20.  October closed up $0.56 at $20.65.  November was up $0.65 at $21.46.  December was up $0.73 to $21.46.  January through July contracts ranged from thirty-eight cents higher in March to fifty-two cents higher in February. 

Dry whey was up $0.01 to $0.46.  Three sales were made from $0.45 to $0.46.

Cheese blocks closed down $0.05 at $1.77. Two sales were recorded at $1.77 and $1.7750. 

Cheese Barrels went down $0.0150 at $1.88. Nine sales were recorded from $1.8775 to $1.8975.

Butter went up for a second straight day with a $0.0350 increase, closing at $3.0550.  Fourteen sales were recorded from $3.0475 to $3.06.

Nonfat dry milk gained $0.0125 closing at $1.5450.  Two sales were recorded at $1.54 to $1.5425.
