CME milk, cash dairy mostly lower Tuesday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mostly lower again Tuesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February Class III milk was down $0.07 at $17.77.  March was down $0.05 at $17.41.  April was down $0.07 at $17.83.  May was up $0.01 at $18.29.  June through December contracts were all unchanged except June, which fell $0.05 to $18.70

Dry whey was up $0.0150 at $0.43.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Cheese blocks were down $0.0150 at $1.8350.  Two sales were recorded at $1.8250 to $1.8350.

Cheese barrels were down $0.0150 at $1.5850.  Five sales were recorded from $1.5850 to $1.5925.

Butter was up $0.0150 at $2.3950.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0150 at $1.2350.  Four sales were recorded from $1.23 to $1.2350.
