CME milk and cash dairy prices mixed Thursday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mixed Thursday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

November Class III milk was down $0.01 at $21.29.  December was down $0.16 at $19.85.  January was up $0.02 at $19.75.  February was down $0.01 to $19.82.  March through September contracts ranged from two cents lower in April to eleven cents higher next September. 

Dry whey was up $0.0050 at $0.44.  One sale was recorded at $0.45.

Cheese blocks had their first change this week, up $0.0075 to $2.0575.  One sale was recorded at that price.

Cheese Barrels were down $0.06 at $2.1450.  No sales were recorded.

Butter remains unchanged at $3.20.  No sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0150 at $1.4250.   No sales were recorded.
