CME dairy prices down Friday

Milk futures fell and cash dairy prices were mostly down Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

November Class III milk was down $0.15 at $21.14.  December was down $0.34 at $19.51.  January was down $0.35 at $19.40.  February was down $0.22 to $19.60.  March through September contracts ranged from eleven cents lower in August and September to eighteen cents lower in March and June. 

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.44.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese blocks were unchanged at $2.0575.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese Barrels were down $0.0550 at $2.09.  Six sales were recorded from $2.0850 to $2.09.

Butter remains unchanged at $3.20.  There were two bids but no sales were recorded.

Nonfat dry milk was down $0.0050 at $1.42.   Two sales were recorded at $1.42 and $$1.4225.
