CME dairy markets mixed Wednesday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Wednesday.

May Class III milk was unchanged at $25.20.  June closed down $0.12 at $24.45.  July closed up $0.01 at $24.70.  August was up $0.02 at $24.45.  September through March contracts ranged from six to twenty-eight cents higher.

Dry whey was up $.0275 at $.55.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese Blocks closed Wednesday’s trade unchanged at $2.2475.  No sales were recorded.

Cheese Barrels were up $.0075 at $2.3025.  No sales were recorded.

Butter was up $0.01 at $2.89.  Five sales were made from $2.8575 to $2.89.

Nonfat dry milk was up $.0025 to $1.8675.  Six sales were recorded from $1.8675 to $1.8750
