An update on Stine’s narrow row, high pop research
In 2014, Stine Seed Company continued its research on narrow row, high population corn. They planted corn as high as 55,000 plants per acre on their own farm in central Iowa, and as high as 80,000 plants per acre in their research program. We asked Myron Stine, vice president of sales and marketing, what they learned in 2014.
