Research continues on the pros and cons of corn stover removal.
DuPont is one of several companies doing research in that area. The company is building its first cellulosic ethanol plant near Nevada, Iowa and will use corn stover as the feedstock.
Today’s Managing for Profit features comments from farmer Jeff Taylor of Ames, Iowa, who has been cooperating with DuPont on the stover removal project, and Andy Heggenstaller, an agronomy research manager with DuPont Pioneer.
