Adjusting fertilizer rates

Input prices are on the rise, and farmers are trying to determine the best approach to crop fertility in 2022.

University of Minnesota Extension crops educator Brad Carlson says there’s a lot of residual nitrogen left in drought-effected areas, and a fall soil sample could shine a light on how much fertilizer might be needed next year.
