During USDA’s Ag Outlook Forum last week, the department projected 90 million soybean and 92 million corn acres this year assuming normal weather.

Global Commodity Analytics president Mike Zuzolo says he was not surprised by the soybean figure, but was caught off guard by how high the corn projection was.

And he expects 2021 acreage to be a moving target until we get into the heart of planting this spring.
