Working together to advance technology in pork production

Ahead of the recent World Pork Expo a group of international pork producers toured GSI’s Automated Production Systems facility in Taylorville, Illinois.

Tom Stuthman, director of GSI’s North American protein business says the tour was a great opportunity to engage with international customers to learn about their needs and work together to come up with innovate solutions to better serve the customers’ needs.  The tour included  13 producers from China, and 13 from Mexico and Colombia, South America.

Following the visit, Stuthman says the spent the end of last week talking with producers about AP’s latest technologies used in pork production.  For AP that includes the latest ventilation, environmental controls, and alarm systems.
