Merck introduces BANAMINE TRANSDERMAL

Merck Animal Health has introduced BANAMINE TRANSDERMAL, the first and only FDA approved drug for controlling pain in cattle.

According to a company new release, BANAMINE TRANSDERMAL is “a breakthrough innovation…the first and only non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory cattle product available as a pour-on…eliminating the time-consuming and stressful process associated with intravenous administration”.

At the recent Cattle Industry Convention in Phoenix, we discussed this new product with Merck technical services veterinarian Dr. Kevin Hill.
