Continuing to increase consumer demand for pork

The restaurant industry has been slow to recover from the coronavirus pandemic and are competing more with at-home cooking and are looking for innovative ways to stand out and increase traffic.

The National Pork Board and IHOP are capitalizing on restaurant goers love for bacon with the new Bacon Obsession Menu that launched earlier this month.

Neal Hull with the National Pork Board talks about this partnership, but also the work they’re doing with other retail partners like Sam’s Club and EG America, as well as featuring ground pork in grocery stores to increase mean.
