Ranch horse trainers educated in Nebraska

Joanna HergenrederStudents with a desire to learn ranch horse training have an institution at which they can receive such an education in a year-long course.

There are many directions to go with the equine education offered in the course, even if it’s discovered part of the way through that ranch horse training is not what a student is seeking, according to Joanna Hergenreder, an assistant professor in animal science at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.

There’s not enough history of the specific ranch horse training program to measure its success in making graduates employable in the field.  In a brief time, however, the program – a one-year course – provides extensive background.
