Can sourdough bread help with gluten sensitivity?

Dave Torgerson with the Minnesota Wheat Growers council says they are going to be studying sourdough bread and the sourdough process and how it might help people with gluten sensitivities.

  • The only way to treat gluten sensitivity is the complete removal of all wheat, barley, rye and oats and products containing these ingredients from the diet. Farmers who grow these items need to start looking for something else to grow, especially if they are going to insist on continuing to use Round-up to “ripen” the crops.
