The feel good hormone

The days are becoming darker and that can cause some people to have Seasonal Affective Disorder or SAD.  SAD is a form of depression caused by a lack of sunlight.  Erin Carter, Health and Nutrition Educator for Michigan State University Extension says less sunlight means our bodies produce less serotonin, a feel good hormone.
