Dr Food discusses methane pledge

The UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) is making headlines with more than 100 countries pledging to reduce methane emissions by 2030.

David Hughes, also known as Dr. Food, is an emeritus professor of food marketing at Imperial College in London who has four decades of experience working with food companies, associations, and governments around the world. He discusses some of the pledges.

The livestock industry is sometimes singled out for methane emissions, but a leader with the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association has said they’re actively engaged to ensure the cattle industry is recognized for its strong record of environmental stewardship.
