Doing more to address food insecurity
A recent survey of 1,200 likely voters from Feeding America showed that families continue to feel the strain of higher grocery bills. The survey also reports that 82% of respondents say they are concerned about high food prices and 87% are concerned that hunger is on the rise in America.
University of Missouri ag economist Scott Brown says the latest Jobs report showed a slight uptick in unemployment and that could start to impact purchasing moving forward.
