Former Farm Broadcaster crowned Mrs. Missouri

How cool is this?  Lanie Beetsma, former farm broadcast talent at KMZU Radio in Carrollton, Missouri, was crowned Mrs. Missouri during a pageant held in Chillicothe on April 22.  The Mrs. Missouri website has yet to be updated so soon after the pageant, but check back for a picture of Lanie.  Tyne worked with Lanie at KMZU, so got the scoop early.  The St. Joseph News Press ran a preview piece and The Constitution-Tribune story had this to say:

Mrs. Green Hills Lanie Beetsma has been married to Brad for 18 months. They reside in Chillicothe. Lanie works as an accounts manager for Midwest Quality Gloves. She is 24 years old, 5-foot, 5-inches and has brown hair and hazel eyes. Her platform is “Agriculture awareness for children.”
