Winter Diesel Maintenance

Biodiesel can be used year-round. Missouri Soybeans Market Development Director Matt Amick says biodiesel winter maintenance and usage are similar to petroleum diesel. Amick recommends keeping storage tanks full in the winter to prevent condensation issues. He also points out that there is added lubricity from biodiesel, and there are benefits of using a domestic farm grown fuel source.
