Tell us about the services your station provides: We are local. Our station is very connected to local communities. We feature local weather, local news coverage, markets details from our local sales barns and auctions and even broadcasts of local high school sports activities. This area is very German-Catholic – so we have and continue to air the Rosary every night at 6pm.

Tell us about your community involvement: KASM frequently attends local and statewide events. KASM offers multiply platforms for area businesses to share information about their business and to meet the needs of community members. We offer a chamber-focused segment every Monday at 1:10pm and our Partyline Program every weekday at 9:15am. Our listeners are given to the opportunity in many ways with our on-air personalities.

Afternoon Delight with Randy and Diane is a popular program:

Tell us about any involvement you have, or coverage you provide, to any agriculture related groups: If its agriculture related…we like to think we got it covered. Local meetings, tradeshows, seminars, etc – we work to promote such events and to air content of those events to inform our listeners. We frequently talk to our statewide ag groups as they lobby and advocate for agriculture.

KASM Farm Director Joe Gill broadcasts live from many ag events:

Anything else you would like to tell us? Of our 5 full-time employees – approximately – we have 90 years of total radio experience between us – almost all those years at KASM Radio.

  • Thanks from Muenster Humboldt area in central Saskatchewan Can. Our grandparents homesteaded SK in 1905 from Stearns County and have visited many times. We follow Randy and Stearns county baseball…..especially home towns of Farming, St Martin, Albany, Richmond, Roscoe and New Munich.
Many dear cousins there. …so hope to visit again soon. Our little village of Muenster (pop 400) has the classiest ball park in Sask named after my brother , James Korte Field.
Keep up the great work, especially the 6 pm Rosary.
    Dennis Korte, Humboldt, Sask.
