Reminder on Agrisure Duracade

A reminder from the Wisconsin Corn Growers Association that farmers who have corn with the Agrisure Duracade trait need to handle the corn properly.  The rootworm control trait from Syngenta is not cleared for export to China or the European Union.  It is critical that corn containing the trait be segregated from export cargoes headed to those countries.

Syngenta and its grain handler partner, Gavilon, are working to make sure all farmers growing Duracade are aware of how to strictly adhere to the stewardship program protocols. Gavilon also guarantees its ability to pick up and purchase, at fair market price, any Agrisure Duracade corn for which an appropriate buyer cannot be found.
