How do cattle losses impact the industry overall?

Brownfield asked two leading livestock economists for their thoughts on how the cattle losses stemming from the recent snowstorm in the Northern Plains might impact the overall cattle industry picture.  We also discussed anecdotal reports of  herd rebuilding taking place around the country.
