Showcasing manure application technology

Coming up in the next couple of weeks Ohio farmers will have the opportunity to see some of the latest manure application technology in the field. The Western Ohio Manure Application Technology Field Day is going to be held Wednesday, July 31 in Mercer County and then on August 6, Manure Science Review will be held at Hord’s Livestock near Bucyrus, Ohio. Ohio State University field agronomist Glen Arnold says both events will showcase practices that will help livestock producers reduce nutrients found in manure from leaving the field.
