Raising sheep in Maine
Lisa Webster and her husband Phil own North Star Sheep Farm, a farm settled in 1760. Their families have been raising sheep in Maine for over 100 years. Brownfield’s Dave Russell talked with Lisa about the sheep industry in Maine, where the average flock size is 12 head, and about some of the things they are doing in their operation to remain sustainable.
